DescriptionSt Margarets Locomotive Depot ex-NBR Y9 Dock 0-4-0T geograph-2890859-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg
English: Ex-NBR Y9 Dock 0-4-0T at St Margarets Locomotive Depot
Along with other small tank-engines round the un-roofed turntable on the north side of the main line is No. 8122, NBR class G (LNER Y9) No. 546 (LNER No. 9546, No. 8112 in 1946), built 8/1899, withdrawn 8/55. Note the wooden buffers, used on little Docks engines. On the right is one of the two ex-GE F7 2-4-2Ts (Nos. 7093/4) which had come north - for some unknown reason - about 15 years previously. (See also NT2874 : An 0-6-0 Dock Tank at St Margarets Locomotive Depot).
