Das Geschlecht der Nothaft hatte viele unterschiedliche Wappen. Das abgebildete Wappen zeigt die Linie Ritter Nothaft von Wildenstein. Die Burg Wildenstein befindet sich in Tschechien in Skalna (Wildenstein) und wurde wohl gegen Ende des 12. Jhd. gegründet..
