English: „Party per pale shield Argent and Or with an enté en point azure, charged with three crescents Argent, one chaussé, the others addorsed; right three paly roses gules and left a fess wavy gules in base, thereupon a crozier sable issuant.”

Object history
Deutsch: Die drei Rosen stammen aus dem Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Oeslau. Sie sind dem Wappen der Herren von Rosenau entnommen, der ehemaligen Herren von Oeslau. Der Abtstab ist dem Wappen von Mönchröden entnommen und erinnert als Klostersymbol an das Benediktinerkloster. Die drei Halbmonde sind dem Wappen der Herren von Hanstein entnommen, die über 200 Jahre in Einberg begütert waren. Der Wellenbalken symbolisiert die durch die Stadt fließende Röden; auf sie bezieht sich auch der Ortsname ("Redendes Wappen").
English: The arms is a combination of the former municipalities Oeslau (roses), Mönchrieden (crozier) and Einberg (crescents) The fess wavy is canting and symbolises the Röden river.
