বাংলা: আতিয়া মসজিদ বাংলাদেশের টাঙ্গাইল জেলার দেলদুয়ার উপজেলায় অবস্থিত একটি প্রাচীন ঐতিহাসিক মসজিদ। এই মসজিদটি ষোড়শ শতাব্দীতে নির্মিত হয়।
আলি শাহান শাহ্ বাবা আদম কাশ্মিরী (র.) কে সুলতান আলাউদ্দিন হুসাইন শাহ টাঙ্গাইল জেলার জায়গিরদার নিয়োগ দান করলে তিনি এই অঞ্চলে এসে বসবাস শুরু হরেন; সে সময় তিনি ইসলাম ধর্ম প্রচারের এবং আনুষঙ্গিক ব্যয় নির্বাহের জন্য আফগান নিবাসী কররানী শাসক সোলাইমান কররানীর কাছ থেকে সংলগ্ন এলাকা দান বা ওয়াকফ্ হিসাবে লাভ করেন। পরবর্তীতে বাবা আদম কাশ্মিরীর পরামর্শক্রমে সাঈদ খান পন্নী নামক সুফিজির এক ভক্তকে মোগল সম্রাট জাহাঙ্গির উক্ত আতিয়া পরগণার শাসন কর্তা হিসেবে নিয়োগ দান করেন। এই সাঈদ খান পন্নীই ১৬০৮ সালে বাবা আদম কাশ্মিরীর কবরের সন্নিকটে আতিয়া মসজিদ নির্মাণ করেন। মুহাম্মদ খাঁ নামক তৎকালীন এক প্রখ্যাত স্থপতি এই মসজিদ নির্মাণের পরিকল্পনা ও নির্মাণ কাজে সংশ্লিষ্ট ছিলেন। রওশন খাতুন চৌধুরাণী ১৮৩৭ সালে এবং আবুল আহমেদ খান গজনবী ১৯০৯ সালে মসজিদটির সংস্কার করেন। পরবর্তীতে বাংলাদেশ সরকার এই মসজিদটিকে প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক নিদর্শন হিসেবে অধিগ্রহণ করেন।English: The 400-year-old Atia Jam-e Mosque is in the Delduar upazila of Tangail.
According to officials of Department of Archaeology and local historians, the Land lord (Zamindar) of Atia, Syed Khan Panni, had the mosque built on the bank of Louhaganj River by the best masons and artisans of the time (1609). Panni received Atia Pargana(District) from the Mughal Emperor Jahangir as a gift in the beginning of the 17th century. |
