Diagram of British MK II Cordite cartridge (bag charge) for BL 60 pounder gun, 1914.
Contains 9 lb 12 oz Cordite M.D. size 16.
Igniter 1 oz R.F.G.2 powder at each end.


Length 17 inches, diameter 4.7 inches.
Date 1915. Facsimile reprint published by Imperial War Museum and Naval & Military Press, 2003.
