English: Ukrainian Australians in front of a temporary statue of the great Ukrainian poet and freedom-fighter Taras Shevchenko, (design by artists Peter Kravchenko and Stephan Chwyla, who were eventually founding members of the Ukrainian Artists Society of Australia) at Lidcombe Oval in Sydney, Australia in January 1964. This statue and temporary monument was part of the Ukrainian-Australian community's celebration of 150 years from the birth date of Shevchenko.

Сіднейські малярі Петро Кравченко і Степан Хвиля оформлюють скульптуру Тараса Шевченка у натуральну величину, і разом з групою мистців монтують тимчасовий пам'ятник в центрі спортивному майданчику в Лідкомбу (Lidcombe Oval), околиці Сіднею.
