Baba Budhanath Temple also known as Vriddheshwarnath Temple is a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva (Budhanath) and is situated on the Bank of River Ganga at Jogsar, Adampur, Bhagalpur, Bihar, India.
Etymology
[edit]Budhanath or Bal Vridheswarnath is one of 108 Nath in India.
It is mentioned in the twelfth chapter of Shiva Purana.[1]
How to reach
[edit]Budhanath Temple is 1.6 km from Bhagalpur Railway Station. Visitors can reach Budhanath via Train to Bhagalpur Junction in 10-20 minutes. From Bhagalpur junction they can reach Budhanath Mandir via Khalifabagh Market Road and Budhanath Road.
Deoghar Airport is the nearest functional airport to Budhanath predecessor of Patna Airport.
