Track marshall
CSD declined
Hi Fabian Hassler. Thank you for your work on patrolling pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I just wanted to inform you that I declined to delete Track Marshall, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion under criterion A10 because of the following concern: Track marshall is a bona fide article and someone had changed the article before it was complete adding a redirect link. I will try to sort it out. Disambiguation notice has also been placed.
- Ok have sorted it, I hope!

Hi Fabian Hassler. Thank you for your work on patrolling pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I just wanted to inform you that I declined to delete Lonny (magazine), a page that you tagged for speedy deletion under criterion A3 because of the following concern: the article contains content, instead of external links, category tags and "see also" sections, a rephrasing of the title, attempts to correspond with the person or group named by its title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, chat-like comments, template tags and/or images only. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion and especially what is considered Non-criteria. In future you should rather tag such pages for proposed deletion or start an appropriate deletion discussion. A very short article may be a valid stub if it has context, in which case it is not eligible for deletion under this criterion —mono 22:07, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- At the time when I posted the CSD the page Lonny (magazine) only consisted of an external link. At the current stage of the page, I agree with the assessment to decline the speedy deletion request. Fabian Hassler (talk) 10:28, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
Manokamana academy biratnagar
There is a (rather silly) clause that schools don't fall under a7. -- Marcus Qwertyus (talk) 17:29, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
- And under what do schools fall? Or is any school in the world relevant???
- Schools can't be deleted under A7, but there are plenty of other ways to delete a page, such as AfD for example - Kingpin13 (talk) 08:18, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Reviewer permission
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:17, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Rollback
Hello, per your request, I've granted you Rollback rights! Just remember:
- Rollback gives you access to certain scripts, including Huggle and Igloo, some of which can be very powerful, so exercise caution
- Rollback is only for blatant vandalism
- Having Rollback rights does not give you any special status or authority
- Misuse of Rollback can lead to its removal by any administrator
- Please read Help:Reverting and Wikipedia:Rollback feature to get to know the workings of the feature
- You can test Rollback at Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback
- You may wish to display the {{User wikipedia/rollback}} userbox and/or the {{Rollback}} top icon on your user page
- If you have any questions, please do let me know.

PRODding
Hi, thanks for your efforts, but please be careful not to scare off newcomers when tagging articles for deletion. I just deleted an article that you had put a PROD tag on a mere 10 minutes after its creation. In general, if an article isn't inappropriate, but has problems like notability or lack of references, it's usually better to leave it for a few hours to see if the author does anything with it rather than tag it on sight. Thanks, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:32, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Track marshall
Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Track marshall. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Track Marshall. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Track Marshall - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Fabian Hassler (talk) 12:43, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for the note, but I didn't create it - I come up as the creator of the redirect because I moved the incorrectly titled Track marshall to Track Marshall. Other people since edited the redirect to create the article that you listed for speedy deletion; I note that someone else has since reverted it back to a redirect. -- roleplayer 18:49, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

- He attacked your talk page and then mine. I got him blocked User talk:88.246.219.104. I appreciate if people edit here in their real name but then one is exposed to such bastards which exploit the anonymity of the web to launch personal attacks -- disgusting. By the way, you seem to be more advanced than me so I will come back to you if I have any questions regarding wiki. Fabian Hassler (talk) 18:06, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

I declined the speedy of Pankaj K. Agarwal. Please read WP:PROF before you attempt to make similar judgements about whether academic biographies contain assertions of notability. This one contains two statements that both imply that the subject passes WP:PROF: the named chair at Duke and the ACM Fellow. —David Eppstein (talk) 00:12, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
- It was in fact not me who put the Speedy Deletion tag but it was put by Jsfouche with the edit [1]. I simply restored the tag as it was removed by the author himself. The reason why I not simply reverted the edit was due to the fact that the author (besides removing the speedy deletion flag) edited the article and added new information which I wanted to keep. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Dorothee Elmiger has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
