"full tang"
"The handle between the pommel and hilt is iron, suggesting that the sword was crafted for combat with a full tang – which is when a sword or knife consists of one solid piece of metal from end to end." This is unnecessary. All European swords of this era were forged from iron in a single piece, with the pommel peened on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.249.133.224 (talk) 05:23, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
