Hathiwind, also known as Hathi Pind, is a village in the Sargodha District of Punjab province, Pakistan. It is located at an altitude of 186 metres (613 feet) [1] and is situated in the Bhera-Bhalwal Road. This road separates the village in two parts.

There is a government hospital, a primary school and a private middle school. Most of students have to go surrounding cities and towns for education. There is also a girls primary school. There is also a school of maryland and ghazali.it is also said to be a land of lawyers and judges. There are many bureaucrates in this town as well.Gondal is the largest family of Hathi Wind.it is also said to be a father of Gondal cast in the sargodha and mandi bhaiddin area as well.The people have extraordinary social and political influence in the area. This town is also home of many syeds ,luck and sipras as well. Alexandar the great ,Raja Poras and Sher shah sori used Hathi wind as a safe battle place for themselves. There is also 100 acres large graveyard in this town. Which is 500 hundred year old.
