Joseph Semprevivo is an American business executive.[1][2] Semprevivo is the founder and owner of Joseph’s Lite Cookies, a sugar-free cookie business with an international presence.[3][4][5] He is also the author of Madness, Miracles, Millions, which chronicles the Semprevivo family’s rags-to-riches story.[6]

Because of his business experience, Semprevivo regularly appears on cable news networks to discuss tax policy and other issues.[7][8] He is also a regular op-ed columnist.[9][10]

Joseph's Lite Cookies

A family-owned business, Joseph’s Lite Cookies bakes more than 12 million sugar-free cookies a day, in addition to providing sugar-free pancake syrup and other food products.[11][12][13]

Semprevivo’s cookies became a regularly scheduled item on QVC for six consecutive years.[14][15] His first day on air, Semprevivo sold 3.6 million cookies.[16][17]

Personal Life

Semprevivo is the son of Lawrence and Jo-Marie Semprevivo.[18] Before he was born, Semprevivo’s father nearly lost his arm in a printing press machine accident, which drove the family into poverty.[19] At age nine, Semprevivo was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, which eventually inspired him to launch Joseph’s Lite Cookies.[20][21]

In 2013, Semprevivo and his father published Madness, Miracles, Millions, which chronicles the family’s journey from humble beginnings to corporate success.[22]
