Breton Americans are Americans of Breton descent from Brittany.
History
A large wave of Breton immigrants arrived in the New York City area during the 1950s and 1960s.[2] Many settled in the East Elmhurst neighborhood of Queens.[2]However according to this article https://www.letelegramme.fr/soir/bretons-d-amerique-gangs-of-new-york-26-02-2018-11867230.php, there is more than 10.000 Bretons that had left their native land to emigrate in New York.They had apparently very-well integrated into the New Yorker society because of their Celtic heritages comparable to the Irish one.however they still very attached to their Homeland. There is also a soccer team in Queens.
