Promina Group is an Australian insurance company listed on the Australian and New Zealand stock exchanges as ASXPMN, NZX: PMN. It employs over 7,200 people in 210 offices across Australia and New Zealand, and traces its operations back to 1833 in Australia and 1878 in New Zealand.

Promina owns and operates the following brands: AAMI, Australian Pensioners Insurance Agency (APIA), Just Car Insurance, Shannons, Vero, Asteron and Tyndall.

In New Zealand the organisation operates Vero, Asteron, Guardian Trust, Tyndall, Vero Marine, Vero Liability, AA Insurance, SIS, AXIOM, Mariner, Comprehensive Travel Insurance and Autosure

On the 12th October 2006, Suncorp-Metway Limited a Queensland based financial group, made a $7.9 billion bid for the purchase of Promina Group. The company has said it is "favourably disposed" to the offer.
