Tamarie Cooper is a well-regarded actress and playwright in Houston, Texas who is best known for her work with Infernal Bridegroom Productions and The Catastrophic Theatre.[2] She currently serves as the Associate Director of The Catastrophic Theatre.[3] She attended Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.[4]

The prolific Cooper is known for the semi-autobiographical musicals she produces annually.[5] Her first was performed on stage at The Orange Show in 1996.[6]
