Azubuike Emanuel Egwuekwe (born 16 July 1989) is a Nigerian Professional football player who play for Kuopion Palloseura in Veikkausliiga,[3] he plays as a Central Defender.

Career

Egwuekwe has played club football for Nasarawa United, Yerima Strikers and Warri Wolves.[2]

Prior to the 2016 season, Egwuekwe signed a one-year contract, with an option for another season, with KuPS.[4]

International career

He made his international debut for Nigeria in 2012,[2] and has appeared in FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.[5] He was called up to Nigeria's 23-man squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.[6]

He was selected for Nigeria's squad at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.[7] He was named to Nigeria's squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship.[8]
