Josef Gingold (1909-1995)

Born in Russia in 1909, Josef Gingold came to America in 1920 and studied violin with Vladimir Graffman. In 1937 he won a spot in the NBC Symphony Orchestra, and later was the Cleveland Orchestra’s concertmaster.
