The Guntur–Tenali section connects Guntur and Tenali stations. It even connects Guntur–Krishna Canal section at Guntur and Howrah-Chennai main line, Tenali-Repalle branch line at Tenali. The section covers a total length of 25.28 km (15.71 mi), is administered under the jurisdiction of Guntur railway division of South Central Railway zone.[1]

History

Guntur-Repalle Broad gauge section was opened in the year 1916.[2] At that time it was owned by Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway.
