Badatz Beit Yosef is a kosher certification that is widely used by Sephardic and other Jews in Israel.[1] An estimated 70 percent of Israeli restaurants use the Badatz Beit Yosef standard.[2] The organization is run by Moshe Yosef (rabbi).[3] Badatz Beit Yosef was the first kosher certifying organization to certify cigarettes for Passover.[4] Badatz Beit Yosef is the leader in kosher slaughter of chicken for Orthdox Jews in Israel.[5] Knesset member Lior Edri is a certification manager at Badatz Beit Yosef.[6] Ariel Arias is the former head of Badatz Beit Yosef.[7]
