This is a list of the States Union territories of India ranked in order of sex ratio. Sex ratio, here is expressed as the number of women per thousand men in a given population at a given time. Data given per the Census of India 2001 results. Kerala has the highest sex ratio; while Haryana has the lowest sex ratio among states and Daman & Diu has the lowest among all states and territories.
