Thanks!
Thank you. I appreciate your commendation. CryptoDerk's Vandal Fight tool really helps!--ViolinGirl♪ 21:16, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
Re: Thanks again
Yeah, that has a way of happening. It just means you're doing a good job. Wear it proud! — Knowledge Seeker দ 01:12, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
My thanks!
I just wanted to thank you for supporting my recently passed RfA. I just hope I can live up to your (and everyone's!) expectations! --InShaneee 04:19, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for responding to my AIV
That's the first time I've ever used that page, to be honest, and I'm glad it works so quickly! Thanks for responding quickly and blocking him without delay. My editcount is still far too low to consider posting an RFA, but I certainly try to fight vandalism as well as I can as a normal user. -- Snurks T C 07:15, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, next time I'll make sure to warn to {{test4}}. I gave him a {{test3}} soon after I posted the request (he had already made quite a few edits) but I'll be sure to do it right in the future. Snurks T C 07:20, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
Here's to Self Knowledge :)
I regret to inform you, that since you only got 59 support votes and the new, minimal, agreed upon criteria is now 60 votes, you will have to turn in your mop and reapply...sorry:> Seriously, CONGRATS and I know you'll make a fine addition to the Cabal, Cheers59 is that all?! Sorry, but the new, minimal, agreed upon criteria is now 60 votes. Sorry, but you will have to turn in your mop and reapply:> Seriously, CONGRATS and I know you'll make a fine addition to the Cabal,--R.D.H. (Ghost In The Machine) 05:56, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
please stop making this article evil!
There is a horribly pro-condom/anti-life view being expressed in this 'article' please stop re-adding it, I've already fixed the article, now don't change it anymore!--64.12.116.197 18:14, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
My self-block
Making fun of a fellow admin, huh? :( :P. As for the Kindness Campaign, no, they're not affiliated with Esperanza, although that would be a good idea to do... Titoxd(?!? - help us) 23:34, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Louis Braille
Thank you for the comments you left me on my talk page. Would you please protect or semi-protect the Louis Braille article? It is being vandalized worse than anything I have ever seen. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 09:07, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
Baseball on Wikicities, a new wiki website
Hi KnowledgeOfSelf, Googie Man here. I've noticed you make some edits of baseball players on Wikipedia. Jimbo and Angela have made a new webstie called Wikicities. This link in particular will take you to the baseball Wikicity. As you'll see it's similar to Wikipedia, but my hope is this will allow baseball fans to do more and different things, like reporting on games, in depth statistics, create mulitple pages for pictures, and whatever else baseball fans care to create. You've done such great work on Wikipedia I was hoping you could help me get this baseball Wikicity off the ground. Please tet me know what you think either at my talk page, or you can email me at terry@wikia.com. Thanks! Googie Man(Talk), 15:34, 4 January 2006.
- Thanks for your response KnowledgeOfSelf! Googie Man, 21:03, 4 January 2006.
Thanks
Thanks for the good comments. I'm still here, but I'm not going to be spending much time here until I get completely relaxed from this poisonous atmosphere. Titoxd(?!? - help us) 05:52, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
User vandalized after warning
Hi. I noticed that you warned user 216.56.6.18 about vanalism, and it appears this user recently vandalized List of high schools in Wisconsin. I reverted that article, but wasn't sure if this user needs to be blocked now for not heeding your warning. Thanks. mtz206 16:14, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
Rfa thanks
Hello KnowledgeOfSelf. Thank you for supporting my Rfa! I will try my best to be a good administrator. --a.n.o.n.y.m t 17:43, 6 January 2006 (UTC) |
Thanks
Many thanks for your Furry Cave Man Support on my request for adminiship, I'm sure you'll be glad to know the final result was 92/1/0. I am now an administrator and (as always) if I do anything you have issue with, please talk about it with me. --Alf melmac 08:44, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for your support on my request for adminship.
The final outcome was (80/3/0), so I am now an administrator. I was flattered by the level of support and the comments, so I'm under real pressure not to disappoint, thus if you have any queries, suggestions or problems with any of my actions as an admin then please leave me a note --pgk(talk) 11:41, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
Baseball Wikicities and Wikipedia attribution
Hi KnowledgeOfSelf, if you use Wikipedia content on Wikicites, all you do is put this tag {{wikicities:Wikipedia|Article}}, at the end of the article, and it will give attribution to Wikipedia. Thanks for your contributions to Wikicities! Googie Man(Talk), 13:23, 10 January 2006 (UTC).
listing vandals at AIV
Ah, I see. That makes much more sense. Does each puppet have to get its four warnings before being listed? Actually, as it turned out, they were meatpuppets, which explained the speed with which those articles kept springing up. They've appologised and promised not to do it any more - should I delist them, or let an admin do that? -- Vary | Talk 20:37, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
Journalist
Sorry for not replying to your messages; it couldnt be helped. I'm still unable to converse over the net. Apart from my computer system crashing (piece of crap), i have exams coming up in two weeks. These exams will have a very huge impact on my averages (and if they are below 85%, I wont be able to get into the university program I applying for). Therefore, i will be away until about February. I'll still pop in when I'm at the library at school (like now), but my activities will be limited.
So, you are an ADMINISTRATOR!!!!!! wicked!!!! I really wanted to nominate you myself. It would be cool, you know, because I welcomed you. I even had my nomination speech planned out. I had no idea you were even running. Let me add my late congrats. Oran e (t) (c) (e) 18:26, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
Will talk 2 u soon. Oran e (t) (c) (e) 18:26, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
New Sports Wiki/Community
Hi:
I noticed you were active on many baseball pages on Wikipedia. My friends and I are starting a sports wiki that you may be interested in. It uses Wikipedia's software but we made a lot of technological improvements to allow for more news and opinion articles, as well as regular encyclopedic entries. It also has a database where you can display statistics for any baseball player since 1871. If you’re interested in it, check it out at http://www.armchairgm.com. Here's the MLB page: http://www.armchairgm.com/mwiki/index.php?title=MLB. And here's the link to learn about the stats section: http://www.armchairgm.com/mwiki/index.php?title=Help:Baseball_Statistics

Sorry, didn't know he was a serial vandal. Feel free to indef block if my 24 hour ban superceded yours. karmafist 02:53, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- Nah, I don't care either way. Sorry if that wasn't clear before. Please feel free to do whatever. karmafist 02:57, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- Happy editing? Eh, that's been tough lately due to all the people trying to intimidate those who don't agree with them. I'll try my best though, despite all the bullies, admin and otherwise. karmafist 03:04, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
Mudlists
Hey thanks for blocking Mudlists however part of me feels bad, he couldn't understand why his could stay and the others couldn't. I am going to go through the MUD articles and post on the talk pages any URLS i feel are commercial just because its not fair to him and maybe he'll understand then and become a productive wikipedian. Thanks alot however, I wish I coulda make him understand without a block though! Mike 23:56, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- Oh yea, the block was more than appropriate, I just feel hes a little misguided, seems willing to learn though, thanks again! Mike 03:19, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
