Introduction

Lieutenant General Mohammad Asad Durrani (born 7 February 1941) is a retired Pakistani military general of Pashtun dissent. He has been on key posts including instructor-ship Command and Staff College Quetta, Director General of Military Intelligence, Director General, Inter-Services Intelligence, Inspector General Training and Evaluation at General Head Quarters and Commandant at National Defence College.

Durrani is a graduate from General Staff Academy, Germany. He has also been Pakistan's defense attache to Germany from 1980 to 1984.[1]
