Daryn Hinton born December 28, 1954 in Santa Monica, CA, rooted in the Hollywood entertainment industry as a child actor, business woman, band manager/financial backer, working in public relations, viral networking and founder/CEO of ESP ('Extrodinary Services Performed for Extra Special People') and owning a business and newspaper in Mexico. Hinton was named Daryn by actor Tyrone Power after his daughter Taryn Power. Hinton is the daughter of actor Ed Hinton and Hollywood entertainment socialite Marilynn Hinton. Hinton's godmothers were actress Jane Russell and Bobo Rockefeller who was married to Winthrop Rockefeller. Hinton’s brother is childstar, actor, producer, Darby Hinton whose godparents were actor Charlton Heston and former Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Winthrop Paul Rockefeller. Her sister Darcy Hinton Cook actress, business woman whose godparents were actors Steve Cochran and Denise Darcel, co-founded Bebe Sport and Bebe Tunes and owned the Bebe Sport Polo Team of Hawaii with her husband Howard Cook. Hinton is married to Paul Gabriel and has no children.

Early Years Hinton grew up at 1234 Bel Air Road in Los Angeles, CA. The home was featured in Life Magazine and movies because of it's jungle like atmosphere and pool in the livingroom. Hinton started acting and doing modeling at one year of age and was in the Lassie TV show [1], One Step Beyond [2], Rescue 8 [3] , Death Valley Days [4] , Shoot-Out at Medicine Bend [5] , The Tennessee Ernie Ford Show, etc. In a casting list dated 10/9/61 for the movie To Kill a Mockingbird on display at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science is a hand written note in the margin for Hinton to call back for the part of Scout and meet the director Robert Mulligan as researched by Chris Soldo who is writing the book on the making of To Kill a Mocking Bird. Hinton's father, Ed Hinton was killed [6] on Columbus day 1958 on Catalina Island in California. He was flying home to Los Angeles in a sea plane to make a movie. Hinton stood with her mother and siblings waving goodbye as the tiny seaplane lifted off of the water and crashed into the mountain before their eyes. For this reason, Fess Parker, became a great father figure to Hinton and her brother who played Fess's son Israel Boone on the Daniel Boone TV show from 1964-1970. Hinton would spend a lot of time on the set.

Hinton enjoyed being behind the camera instead of infront of it. In 1977 Hinton worked on the crew of The Don Ho TV Show[7] on Waikiki Beach, Hawaii. In 1979 Hinton promoted the Las Vegas Film Festival at the Cannes Film Festival on the Yacht 'Jolly Joker' with movie personalities Stuart Whitman and Sivi Aberg [8] supervising filming for Dick Clark on board. In 1981 Hinton produced a television pilot in Hawaii starring Gilad Jankowitz using second unit Magnum PI production team including Bruce Shirley[9]. It was the first exercise show ever shot on location. Gilad later developed the show to be a worldwide success called Bodies in Motion[10].

In 1982 after Hinton's mother passed away, her life was totally changed with a born again experience with Christ. She walked away from Hollywood and anything connected and pursued her new found faith. Hinton states "I became a miracle junkie, loving a one on one relationship with God, walking in miracles and feeling HIM guiding me.[11] Hinton, having never been a part of the music industry, managed three bands each of which did things that had never been done while she was working with them.

Stryper:(Managed/Financed by Hinton)[12] Shortly after seeing them perform for the first time at the Country Club in Reseda CA on April 2, 1984, [13] Hinton put everything she had financially behind the band [14] who became the first Christian metal band to tear down the barriers to the mainstream music industry, starting a movement to follow and selling over 10 million records. Hinton is featured in Stryper's 'In The Beginning' video[15], interviewed on Stryper's official website[16] and featured in the biography Stryper: Loud 'n Clear [17]

Holy Soldier: (Managed/Financed by Hinton) The first Christian band to sign with a major Christian label Myrrh Records and the first Christian metal band to sign with a major secular label A&M Records.

Charizma from Sweden: (Managed by Hinton starting 8/8/88) First Christian rock band to get signed to Russia's only record label, Melodiya Records, before the Berlin Wall came down and the fall of communism.
