Colin Turkington is an auto racing driver from Newry in Northern Ireland, born on 21st March 1982. He has been racing in the BTCC since 2002, and is currently seeking a drive for 2006. Beofre this he competed in karting, and the Ford Credit Fiesta Zetec Championship, which he won in 2001.

His first BTCC drive was in a year-old MG sponsored by the pop group Atomic Kitten. He did well enough to move up to the manfacturer-backed team for 2003, finishing 8th in the championship than year and 6th a year later. For 2005 he replaced champion James Thompson at Vauxhall, but while Yvan Muller challenged for the title, Colin finished down in 5th place, costing him the drive for 2006.
