My Life As Liz is a scripted reality TV show that about the life of Liz Lee, a 17-year-old non-conformist teenager determined to make her senior year of high school one to remember. It takes place in Liz's hometown, Burleson, Texas.[1] My Life as Liz debuted on MTV on January 18, 2010 at 10:30pm after The Buried Life. Reruns can be seen on TeenNick.
Characters
- Liz Lee: Liz is an outspoken, cynical 17-year-old angsty teen. She was originally a sexy, blonde, popular girl, but after realizing how catty that lifestyle was she broke away from that group. She hangs out with the nerds at school.
- Bryson: Bryson is Liz's friend and one of the few people she can actually be intimate with. He is a laid back,stylish,easygoing guy who often agrees with Liz's anti-conformist views.
- Sully: Sully is Liz's best friend. He's a quirky, goofy and somewhat nerdy sophomore. He and Liz share alot of common ground such as their love of movies, comic books, and role playing.
- Cameron: an aspiring filmmaker and Liz's partner in a TV production class.
- Troy: one of the school nerds and Liz and Sully's other best friend.
- Miles: one of the school nerds and Liz and Sully's other best friend.
- Taylor Terry: Taylor is a member of the popular girls at the high school. She and Liz were forced to spend the last days of summer together because of a TV production class project, consequently bonding and becoming temporary allies.
- Cori Cooper: The stereotypical queen bee and school diva, she is the leader of the popular girls. Cori doesn't like Liz mainly because of Liz rebelling against the social order of high school and leaving the popular cess pool. She and Liz used to be best friends and are now bitter rivals. She now wants to make Liz's senior year as miserable as possible.
- Tori: Cori's new best friend, a superficial clone of Cori.
