how do I start a new page on fashion houses

National Rivalry in the first paragraph?

Guys this is not my area so I am not going to edit the first paragraph, but I strongly suggest you take away the whole bit about Italy leading in style over American and French fashion design. Completely unneccesary to define such national differences. Also, the statement is subjective at best and completely unverifiable at worst. Third, this does nothing to help define the term,"fashion design" to either the academic or lay public reading this article. In other words, this statement has no place in your article. I strongly recommend you rework this. Contact me on my talk page for ideas, if you like.
