Skycycle

Los Angeles-based alternative rock band Skycycle was led by singer/songwriter Steve Isaacs. He formed Skycycle (so named in honor of the two-wheeled rocket in which Evel Knievel attempted to jump the Snake River Canyon in 1974) with guitarist Sven Shenar, bassist Kelly Castro and drummer Rob Brown.[1]

Albums

Skycycle released a self-produced demo tape named Siren in 1997. This successfully got them signed to MCA Records, leading up to the issuing of Skycycle's debut EP, Breathing Water one year later 1998. Skycycle were dropped in 1999, before the release of its completed full length CD, Ones and Zeros, which remains unreleased. Chris Cano replaced Rob Brown as drummer, because the latter pursued a career in jazz music. The band continued to play and write music for about a year before disbanding in September 2000.[2] The band played one final time on October 22, 2002.[3]
