Sports Talk
I would love to but since 2009 in Sports page is separated by sports parts and I can't add this particular statement on that page since this covers MLS, MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL. Since this is talking about something that only happens once on a particular day versus a special event It preferably belongs there but I have no other choice. (FREDMAN (talk) 23:20, 31 October 2009 (UTC))
- The issue is really that it is not notable enough to include in the article. This was confirmed by others in our original discussion. ttonyb (talk) 00:09, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Kay Meredith
Hi Tony, just to let you know, I declined your speedy on this one and stubbed the article into an acceptable shape. Judging from a bit of googling, Kay Meredith is apparently of some national and international importance in the horse dressage world. Regards, De728631 (talk) 16:23, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I saw that, unfortunately I was focusing on her as an author. Thanks for the message and saving the article. My best to you. ttonyb (talk) 16:25, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Regarding The page of WMF & FAM 2010
Please tell me what i can do to prevent the deletion?
I don't think it should be deleted. It is just providing the information and history or the exhibition, which is useful to user.
thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123321adsale (talk • contribs) 01:33, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

- First of all, if you are a minor you need to immediately discuss this your parents or someone that you trust for advice. I would also recommend your consider discussing with a trusted teacher or your principal. If there is a serious threat to your physical safety you should immediately tell someone and contact the police or local authorities and advise them of your situation. ttonyb (talk) 01:59, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Hey Ttonyb1. I need help with this page! Can you help me? the page is for "Aaron 'D Boyy' Dissell" — Preceding unsigned comment added by UniversalPictures2009 (talk • contribs)
Hey Ttonyb1. I am trying to create this wikipedia page for a client of mine. He is an actor and a music producer. I can not get the references to show up at the bottom of his page therefore it looks like it is fraudulant. The information for his movie role is fully verified through the internet movie data base. Can you add these links to the references on the 'Aaron D-Boyy Dissell' Wikipage?
link 1: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1226229/ link 2: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3632961/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by UniversalPictures2009 (talk • contribs) 05:02, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hi UP2009, the issue with the article is it fails to establish notability for the individual. Unfortunately, the IMDB references will not be enough to establish notability. Take a look at the section on notability and a look at the links on the welcome message I left on your talk page. The links Biographies of living persons and How to write a great article should help you establish notability. If you have any specific questions, please let me know. Thanks... ttonyb (talk) 05:07, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Christopher Michael Beer
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Christopher Michael Beer. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:17, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
Hello again Tony, I added an article from the Oregonian on one of the artists projects that I made the page for. Still learning about what is a verifiable reference. I think this should suffice? Thanks again-S SandyPortland (talk) 19:43, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
American Eurythmy School-Notable?
Hi Tony,
I see that you have done your homework. I apologize for not doing the search for references. You clearly improved and tightened up the article. I have a question re. the notability of eurythmy in general. As there are about 20 eurythmy trainings in the world and they are all basically in the same boat as far as your criteria for notability, I am wondering, if say 30 years from now, eurythmy is still a required subject for all students in Waldorf schools K-12, which now number over 1000 worldwide, and the trainings are are of course vital to this artistic stream, but are still under the radar in the greater print or internet media, would there even then be no reason for anything but the briefest mention of their existence in an encyclopedia?? Since the schools and eurythmists (especially the AES) actually shun publicity in many respects, the dilemma is exacerbated. I suppose that even if someone wrote a book about the trainings, unless the book was widely read, they would still not be notable in the wikipedia sense. Is that so in your view?
If you delete the article, then for there to be a searchable history or back story for any of the trainings, is it that someone would have to build and maintain an independent website to host that kind of searchable encyclopedic information? I know it is not your job to answer that question, yet I ask it anyway.

- Please note that the criteria you are referring to is not my criteria, but is criteria established to provide continuity and quality to Wikipedia. The criteria was established as a result of extensive discussion by the Wikipedia community that includes volunteers such as you and me.
- The basic issue being discussed in the AfD can be rendered to simply whether or not the article meets the criteria for inclusion by establishing notability by the use of sources that are verifiable, third-party and published. I suggest you review the sections for further information and if you have specific questions, please feel free to let me know. I will also take a look at your user page and make sure you have a Welcome page. The Welcome page also has some great links that can help you create a great article. ttonyb (talk) 00:59, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Mid-Erie Counseling and Treatment Services
I removed the copyvio text from Mid-Erie Counseling and Treatment Services and added some references. -- Eastmain (talk) 05:43, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
- Nice work, thanks. Also, thank you for the message. ttonyb (talk) 06:30, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Edits
You once reminded me not to remove and or replace entire sections or pages when editing. Thanks for the tip. However, at the article Fruitarianism, entire sections (multiple sections) are being removed, (and re-removed), without any explanation in the change line, and without discussion on the talk page; as you can see from the recent history. Are you able to assist? Thanks. Zanze123 (talk) 20:47, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
reflinks
Thanks for your help. I've never used reflinks. Is that the best way to turn bare refs into inlines? Should I consider any other approach? Thanks.--Epeefleche (talk) 01:21, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- You are welcome. It is a good way to convert the refs; however, as with all automated methods of doing something, one needs to review the changes to verify they are correct. I have also run into a few instances where reflinks will not work. The absolute best way is to do it manually, but that does take time and frankly I have not had any major issues using reflinks. 8-) My best to you. ttonyb (talk) 01:25, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hmmm. Am a bit confused, but perhaps thats just because I'm not yet approved? I went to toolbox, took steps to sign up, though I was in, but couldn't for the life of me figure out where reflinks were.--Epeefleche (talk) 03:28, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Just so you know, the copyvio material was recently added by an IP; I reverted it and left them a {{uw-copyvio}}. Tim Song (talk) 02:31, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- Great, thanks for the heads up. ttonyb (talk) 02:34, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
this is ridiculous
Ttonyb1 why do you keep deleting Radiation Entertainments webpage? this is a legitimit business. We have no ill intentions creating our web page. Eruccolo11 (talk) 03:26, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- I am not person deleting the page, I am only nominating it. The nomination is reviewed by an admin and they are deleting. The page fails the Wikipedia criteria for notability. Please read the section and let me know if you have any questions. ttonyb (talk) 03:28, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- ok so how can I make our Record label page have more "notability" should I add different wording? I just don't understand why it doesn't satisfy requirements —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eruccolo11 (talk • contribs) 03:31, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- You need to establish notability for the company by providing resources. I will make sure you have a Welcome message in you talk page, take a look at the links that talk about creating a great article. You may want to look at an established company like Cisco to see how they have established notability. ttonyb (talk) 03:38, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
1990
So the event is allowed in November 13 but not 1990? --121.72.204.144 (talk) 03:29, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- It probably does not belong there either, but I have not looked at November 13. Feel free to delete it from the page. My best to you. ttonyb (talk) 03:33, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
