Bowlee is a village in Greater Manchester, England along Heywood Old Road (A6045) on the outskirts of Middleton between Rhodes and Heywood..

RAF Bowlee

The RAF decided to acquire 110 acres of land between Birch and Bowlee: 54 acres of the land would be acquired from the Langley Hall Estate plus 56 acres from Manchester Corporation. This included Bowlee Farm land and 6 acres of Parkside Farm.

Car boot sales

Large regular car boots sales are held during the summer months at the Bowlee Community Park, Heywood Old Road, Bowlee, Middleton which are well attended and very popular.

Public transport

The area is served by two bus services.

The 125 is the Middleton — Rhodes — Birch — Langley — Alkrington circular which operates morning and afternoons only from Mondays to Saturdays.

The 167 is the Norden — Heywood — Cheetham HillManchester service which operates through much of the day on Mondays to Fridays as well as on Saturday daytimes only.
