Pete Gaudet was an assistant basketball coach for the Duke Blue Devils from 1983-1995. When head coach Mike Krzyzewski took a leave of absence in early 1995 because of back problems, Gaudet was promoted to interim head coach. The team went 13-18 overall and 2-14 in the ACC. He is currently the video coordinator for women's basketball at Ohio State.

Gaudet did not return to the Blue Devils' bench for the 1995-1996 season. [1]
