Master Craftsman Studio describes the physical facility of the Florida State University Master Craftsman Program. The program is part of the university's curriculum. It entails faculty, staff, and students creating and manufacturing sculptures, statues and art which are permanently placed on the campus of Florida State University. The program is the first of its kind in the United States.

The program started in 2000, under the direction of Florida State University President "Sandy" D’Alemberte. The program’s studio is responsible for creating the design and manufacturing 50 stone benches for the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, Florida. The Studio’s Director is Robert Bischoff. The Studio also is responsible for designing and manufacturing commemorative benches across the campus of Florida State University.

A commemorative bench serves to memorialize historically worthy past faculty, alumni and friends of Florida State University. Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Michael Shaara is memorialized as a past faculty member of Florida State University through a commemorative bench. Noble Prize winner Paul Adrian Maurice Dirac, founder of the field of quantum physics, also is memorialized as a past faculty member. Dirac’s commemorative bench sits in Landis Green, in the center of the Florida State University campus.
