DYK for No Obligation
On 15 August 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article No Obligation, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Linda Lindas wrote No Obligation, their second album, during breaks from school and touring? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/No Obligation. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, No Obligation), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Interested in a GAN?
Hey there! I've been seeing your activities on Wikipedia throughout the months, and it's great to find someone else with a pretty similar taste in music as I do based on editing patterns. Given your username (and great taste in vinyls), I wanted to give you the heads-up/first dibs on an article I recently nominated for GA after it got DYK'd yesterday: Mama (My Chemical Romance song). To be clear, this is just a request and I'm not trying to force your hand here. I see that you're on WikiBreak for school (so am I, for that matter), so feel free to pass if it's more commitment than you have time for at the moment! Best, Leafy46 (talk) 01:12, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
- That does sound pretty fun. I'll see if I can make time for it! (I have slowed down wikipedia editing bc of high school). Anyways thanks for the opportunity and - unless someone else takes the GAN before me - expect to se me sometime soon. {{The Sharpest Lives|💬|✏️|ℹ️}} 02:35, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
- Great to hear it, thanks so much! Take your time, there's no rush given how long it usually takes for GANs to be reviewed anyways lol. Leafy46 (talk) 13:58, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
- Welp, I'm eating my own words here. The article was taken up for review, but thanks anyways for your initial interest! I hope to have the opportunity to work with you in the future. Leafy46 (talk) 16:38, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

RfA vote
Hi The Sharpest Lives. In this edit, you added what I'm interpreting to be a non-serious oppose vote to the current RfA, based on the fact that you struck out the vote and added a link to WP:HUMOR. In the future, please only edit the "Oppose" section if you are genuinely opposing the candidate. When you added your name to the oppose section with the hash sign (#), it is causing the scripts that tally RfAs to register it as an actual vote—thus, I've removed the hash sign. If you actually mean to support the candidate, then you should add your name to the "Support" section. If you actually mean to oppose the candidate, then please explain your actual reasons for doing so. Thanks, Mz7 (talk) 07:29, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
- I would also request that you avoid unnecessary edits such as Special:Diff/1243572983 in the future; there is no "cleaning up" needed at that discussion, and all it does is complicate the history and diffs. Primefac (talk) 11:34, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
