Jakaria Showkhin (born 15 November 1985) is a Bangladeshi Writer and Director. He is best known for romance master. Also he is a stylish storyteller. But he started his career as a Journalist and Screenwriter.
Showkhin is fascinated with human psychology, relation and nature in his films. Always he gave to audience larger than life experience.
He made his directorial debut with the film Prem o Khun (2014). It starred Anisur Rahman Milon and Nusrat Imrose Tisha. The movie wasn't a major success. But his first success comes with Nil Roudrer Ghran (2016). It starred Afran Nisho, Mehazabien Chowdhury and Tawsif Mahbub.
After that Showkhin gives to audience many successful films, like Tomar Jonno Mon (2017), Shohore Notun Premik (2018), Jodi Tumi Jante (2018), Jalshaghor (2018), Shesh Chirkut (2019), Urchi Tomar Preme (2022), Bulona Amay (2022) and Sweet Kiss (2023).
Recently he got huge popularity for Pothe Holo Porichoy (2023), Pothe Holo Deri (2023), Uraal Pakhi (2023) and Rupkotha (2024).
