Tian'anmendong[1] (simplified Chinese: 天安门东站; traditional Chinese: 天安門東站; pinyin: Tiān'ānmén Dōng Zhàn; Wade–Giles: Tʻien1-an1-mên2 Tung1 Chan4) is a station on Line 1 of the Beijing Subway. It provides the most direct access to many Beijing tourist sites, including Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum of China.

Station layout

[edit]

The station has an underground island platform.

Exits

[edit]

There are four exits, lettered A, B, C, and D. Exit B is accessible.[7]
