Notice of edit-warring report
Just to let you know belatedly that a report was filed at WP:ANEW against you, but the filer did not notify you of the report. I've already ruled that you did not violate policy, but I thought you might like a heads-up.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:39, 14 May 2024 (UTC)

IFAPA station research and location
Hello, I have found out that the IFAPA station is near the airport and far from the city. It's in the same district where the airport is located at, called La Cañada and the station exact location can be found in Google Maps (official coordinates from the IFAPA website) and there is even the IFAPA La Cañada (Almería Univeristy) public entity that double checks this station is in fact near the airport one and at good kilometers from the city itself.
- IFAPA official site coordinates: https://www.juntadeandalucia.es/agriculturaypesca/ifapa/riaweb/web/estacion/4/2
- IFAPA official coordinates searched in Google Maps: https://www.google.com/maps/place/36%C2%B050'07.3%22N+2%C2%B024'08.7%22W/@36.8520426,-2.3965554,11z/data=!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d36.8353611!4d-2.4024167
- IFAPA official organism located exactly near the station, as the station belongs to a field owned by IFAPA. Centro IFAPA La Cañada https://www.google.com/maps/place/Centro+IFAPA+La+Ca%C3%B1ada,+Carr.+Sacramento,+04120+Almer%C3%ADa/@36.8328192,-2.4020848,13z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0xd7a9c22ab01bbbb:0xab3e018d6e57944f!8m2!3d36.8328192!4d-2.4020848!16s%2Fg%2F11hd1vsx46
So the IFAPA Almería station is CONFIRMED to be near the airport and far from the city. So it does not represent the city itself but an almost empty ground near the airport.
Do you consider it's relevant when within 500 meters we have the official AEMET station with much longer data and it's also much more reliable?
That's why in 2005 the IFAPA station registered a higher minimum temp than the Almería Airport station, which broke the previous historical record when it reached 0.1°C and it almost hit the freezing temperature.
You can do your own research from all official sites. I don't mind adding a reliable station but one located exactly near the airport with less years of data doesn't seem useful at all, as it had a warmer minimum temp in 2005 when Almería registered 0.1 celsius and IFAPA registered 1.2 celsius, so they were above 1 celsius that same day. It was on 27th January 2005 if you want to check it on both IFAPA and AEMET sites. WikiEditor1890 (talk) 22:31, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
