Dany Island is a privately-owned tropical island located in the Sanma Province of Vanuatu, in the Pacific Ocean. The island has been developed into a tourist resort.
Geography
[edit]Located in proximity to Espiritu Santo, Dany Island is part of a cluster that includes several small islands and islets, namely Araki, Elephant Island, Sakao, Lataroa, Lataro, Thion, Malohu, Malwepe, Malvapevu, Malparavu, Maltinerava, Oyster Island, Tangoa, and Bokissa.
Ecology
[edit]Dany Island is recognized for its extensive and vibrant marine life, housing a vast array of tropical fish within its coral reefs. The island serves as a nesting site for giant sea turtles. It hosts a diverse terrestrial ecosystem, including butterflies and hermit crabs.
