from tennur in Arabic
[edit]Böri (talk) 11:14, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- The translations I find on Google are to "teeth", which is wrong. I work as a Latinist in the Esoteric Studies Reading Group in the Warburg Institute, which is about as academically authoritative as it gets: we frequently find variants on "tannoor", bread-oven, in early Arabic texts dealing with talismanic alchemy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.220.152.171 (talk) 22:13, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
