Mohammad Shaheenul Haque BSP, ndc, hdmc, psc is a Major General of Bangladesh Army And incumbent Master General of Ordnance at Army Headquarters. Earlier, he was the GOC 24th Infantry Division and Area Commander of Chittagong Area.[1]

Career

Haque was selected at the ISSB for the 20th BMA Long Course and was commissioned in the Corps of Infantry on July 1989. He was awarded with the coveted 'Sword of Honour' for best all-round performance at his commission. He served as the Platoon Commander in Bangladesh Military Academy, Bhatiary. General Shaheen also served as Director of Weapons, Equipments & Statistics Directorate in Army Headquarters, General Staff Branch. Haque was appointed as the General Officer Commanding, 9th Infantry Division & Area Commander, Savar Area on 31 December 2020.[2] He had previously served as the Commandant of the School of Infantry and Tactics.[3]
