Default article for Bellman

[edit]

Why is this article the default for Bellman and not Bellman (disambiguation)? · · · Peter (Southwood) (talk): 10:09, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That was done by a Scandinavian editor, to whom Sweden's national bard was obviously (and by a large margin) the primary usage of the term, as it may well be in countries including Germany and Netherlands. I'd say that in the UK he is the only well-known person with the surname, but that the dab page is probably right that none of the other uses of the term (i.e. not people) are dominant. Do as you please. Chiswick Chap (talk) 11:01, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I will redirect Bellman to the disambiguation article. Cheers, · · · Peter (Southwood) (talk): 18:47, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
