[Untitled]

[edit]

I've added references from the Auschwitz Museum Archive and from two scholarly German books in which Pivnik features. He regularly gives talks at schools in the London area and, I believe, has an autobiography coming out soon.Griz999 (talk) 17:13, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

'He says that'

[edit]

I presume this article was written by someone wishing to promote his book. It appears to be based on a primary source, except from Griz999's helpful additions. I think it helpful to put 'he says' 'he claims' at places in the text to ensure the reader is aware of this. Some things are stock-in-trade of Holocaust survivor memoirs - knowing Mengele and surviving selections - and I rather suspect that authors come under pressure to include such details. So I thought that this was a good place to add these phrases. Also I'm puzzled as to how he could know when his sister was selected, though I haven't read the book, in any event I'm not aware of independent support for this. No disrespect to the subject, but the ppublishers are those who brought us Denis Avey, some of whose claims are widely questioned.Sceptic1954 (talk) 20:02, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
