This is a *TERROR* attack.
Munich massacre isn’t just an “attack”. It’s a terror attack. terrorism is a word usually, and improperly, reserved for jihadist extremists, due in part to the political proclivities of the moment and the statutory definition of terrorism, which is for the most part restricted to specifically designated foreign-terrorist organisations. Please correct this. This is painful to watch, 50 years after the massacre occurred. Violent attack against Americans in 9/11- a TERROR attack by Wikipedia. Violent attack against Israelis in 9/5-6 of 1972, Also a TERROR attack. 79.176.245.160 (talk) 00:51, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
Merger proposal

Formal request has been received to merge: Anton Fliegerbauer into Munich massacre; dated: September 2022. Proposer's Rationale: Wikipedia is not a memorial and there is nothing notable about this officer besides being killed in the massacre, unlike the other victims, who were Olympic athletes or terrorists. Its contents already exists in the massacre or can be added there. 2603:7000:2601:B81:5871:44BC:6B6B:8E2A. Discuss here. GenQuest "scribble" 14:56, 15 September 2022 (UTC)

Background?
Shouldn’t background on the Black September Organization, their motives, and reasoning be included? Including background on the conflict itself? 2001:1970:5163:1200:0:0:0:5CDE (talk) 20:54, 31 December 2022 (UTC)

Edit request, and a question about conflicting info
In "Surviving Black September members," under "Abu Daoud", it should be clarified that according to the source, the PLO (etc.) were protesting Daoud's arrest--currently it looks like they were protesting France sending him to Algeria before Germany could get him. I have already corrected this on Daoud's article itself, which had the same text. Additionally, here it is implied that France was trying to get him off their hands before Germany could get the correct paperwork in order, but above in the final paragraph of "Alleged German Cover-up", the article states that the Barvarian government intentionally did not act after France asked whether they intended to extradite. Which of these is true? 204.134.245.226 (talk) 18:39, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
Torture
This article is light on the mention of torture, which is a critical detail about such an event. The NYT article that mentions beatings also says that one of the victims was castrated alive. 2600:1700:88B0:6090:A1E1:8FD7:2029:F8A2 (talk) 18:44, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
- That is already mentioned in the article, sourced to the NYT, after he was dead. (Hohum @) 19:52, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
