Thank you for fighting vandalism

[edit]

Hello! I've been reading through some recent changes on Huggle, and I've noticed you reverting vandalism. Thank you!

Hope you have a good day,

Userpage

[edit]

I think you made a mistake on your userpage. I don't know if it was a prank or if it's real.150.101.89.147 (talk) 06:54, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback

[edit]

Hi Tysska. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY 08:24, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry

[edit]

I'm sorry about snapping at you earlier. I was just annoyed at being accused of vandalism whilst the real vandal was getting away scott-free. That's no excuse for my behaviour I know, but I was genuinely trying to remove vandalism, not cause it. 92.11.191.227 (talk) 17:34, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

November 2022

[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:

Wow, what could this be? An editor under the IP address tagged me for no reason [1], so that I am accused of paid contributions. IP address used specifically to tag me with paid contributions. (it is doubtful and understandable that someone is hiding behind this address)-The address being from England. Here again an ip address that has 6 changes (it appears to be the same hidden editor that also has the England location). Similarly, two editors were tagged at the same time with an interval of 9 minutes (an ip address from Ukraine, after which he probably changed the ip address from England again and tagged me too. For more details, see the next page where are other IP addresses in the same range, from which I was also labeled. Please draw attention to these things (because it is clear from the first sight that I was the victim of an attack by a publisher hiding behind IP addresses). I mention that I am blocked by mistake. I am not a paid editors and this is my only account. P.S I could not identify much information about what seems to have been associated with another User:Sabrina.ok account (which was blocked due to Spam. Which is contrary to my principles with which I edit wikipedia. Apart from the fact that we have edits in other language versions, I haven't found anything. I don't think this fact can associate me with that blocked account. Tysska (talk) 14:03, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I agree with GeneralNotability's assessment - private technical evidence along with your contributions point to you editing for pay in violation of the WMF Terms of Use. firefly ( t · c ) 20:07, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
