  • Comment: What has been said about this camera in reliable sources? (And a couple of other points: What is an "enthusiast camera"? Which "$" are these, and for which market(s) are these prices valid?) Hoary (talk) 21:04, 30 October 2022 (UTC)

The Canon EOS R10 is an APS-C mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera produced by Canon.[2][3][1] The camera was announced by Canon on May 24, 2022 and released in Japan on July 28, 2022.[4][1] Alongside the Canon EOS R7, the R10 is the first of two APS-C cameras in Canon's EOS R lineup.[5][6] Two RF-S mount lenses were offered as kit lenses with the R10: the RF-S 18-150mm f/3.6-6.3 IS STM and the RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM.[3]

Main features

The R10 builds on the trickle-down improvements offered in the EOS 850D/Rebel T8i and continues to introduce new features previously unseen in the Rebel line of DSLRs, while combining the compact size of the EOS 250D/Rebel SL3. In fact, the R10 is considered by some to be the de facto successor to the Rebel line[7] with the continued use of the LP-E17 battery originating from the EOS 750D/Rebel T6i.

These are the main features of the R10:
