Sources for gathering info for candidates
I'm curious if there are any standards on what sources to use when writing out descriptive blurbs for prospective candidates. Some candidates have social media and websites. So far, I've been sticking to official websites (e.g., the "About" page of the organization they work for) and news articles, but I'm wondering if I could expand this to include information candidates release themselves. Is it necessary for their claims to be vetted? (E.g., they say they are a banker and a journal article confirms it vs the candidate just listing "banker").
