Space Camp

I see that, right after you added the honor of Space Camp Hall of Fame induction to the Francis French page, someone else suggested this honor was not notable. I agree with you that it is a high honor, and you may wish to keep an eye on that page. Have you also considered adding the Hall of Fame information to the main US Space & Rocket Center page? Proposed deletion of Kenroy Elementary

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Kenroy Elementary, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Thanks for the message on my talk page. As a new page and recent changes patroller, I often check articles within minutes of their creation. At the time I checked this article, there was nothing notable in the article, and Elementary schools are usually non-notable (there has been much discussion over the past few months about that). I see that you have removed the PROD, which is the correct thing to do according to Wikipolicy. May I suggest that, in the future, you ensure that notability claims and references are included before you create the page in Wiki Mainspace. That will avoid this kind of problem. Thanks. WikiProject Space reorganization

Hello WikiProject Space member! A discussion has been started regarding the future of WikiProject Space here; any comments you might have would be welcome! There are mainly two competing ideas:

1. Centralize all the Space-related WikiProjects, such as Astronomy and Spaceflight, and merge them into WikiProject Space, or
2. Separate the Astronomy and Spaceflight "sides" of WikiProject, and remove WikiProject Space.

If you can think of other options, that's great too. Your contribution to the discussion would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)

Wikipedia Campus Ambassadors wanted in Troy, Alabama

Hi! I'm leaving you this message because you're listed as a Wikipedian in Alabama. The Wikipedia Ambassador Program is currently looking for Campus Ambassadors to help with Wikipedia assignments at Troy University, which will be participating in the Public Policy Initiative for the Spring 2011 semester. The role of Campus Ambassadors will be to provide face-to-face training and support for students on Wikipedia-related skills (how to edit articles, how to add references, etc.). This includes doing in-class presentations, running workshops and labs, possibly holding office hours, and in general providing in-person mentorship for students.

Prior Wikipedia skills are not required for the role, as training will be provided for all Campus Ambassadors (although, of course, being an experienced editor is a plus).
