Ridgecliff Middle School

Ridgecliff Middle School has students from 6th to 9th grade. The school is located in Beechville, part of the city of Halifax, Canada. As of 30 September 2006 the school enrolment is 560 pupils, grades 6 to 9.

History

The school was opened in September 1999. The building is privately owned. Since the school has opened, the mascot of the school has been a ram. The catch phrase for the school is "Home of The Rams". The school colors are black, white and teal.

The school goes from grades 6-9. Once grade nine students graduate, they are then sent to Sir John A. Macdonald High School Ridgecliff's feeder school is Beechville Lakeside Timberlea Elementary School.

The first principal of Ridgecliff was Terry Wadden, who is now working at Sir John A. High School, the school that grade 9 students are sent to after they complete the year. Wadden left at the beginning of the 2005-2006 year.

The current principal of Ridgecliff is Julie West.
