George Washington University Lede?
Hi,
I noticed that you made some big edits to the lede of the George Washington University article. Can we discuss them? It feels like there are too many facts and figures in the introductory paragraph, especially on specific rankings and alumni that casual readers of the article may not be interested in. A lot of that information may belong better in the Academics and Alumni sections, respectively, rather than sit so high up on the article. Let me know what you think! Non-free rationale for File:Sacoor Brothers.jpeg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Sacoor Brothers.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 17:47, 13 June 2018 (UTC)

Invitation from Wikimedia Portugal
(English below)
Agradecemos desde já!
Hi! Wikimedia Portugal is the Portuguese chapter of Wikimedia, founded in 2009 and recognized by the Wikimedia Foundation. Our mission is to contribute to the general dissemination of knowledge and culture through the incentive to the collection and creation of content without restrictions on use, modification and distribution, and promote their difusion; we promote and support the Wikimedia Foundation projects, among which Wikipedia, with emphasis on projects in Portuguese and Mirandese.
We would like however to count on the support of (and in turn ourselves support) all volunteers that are citizens, resident, or simply interested in Portugal. Despite being founded in 2009, the chapter has gone through a long period of inactivity that we are trying to overcome. We have sent you this message to invite you, if you are interested, to enroll as associate to the chapter, demonstrate your support to the existence of a chapter in Portugal, and get involved in the discussion of future activities by registering in the mailing list. Recentely, the Wikimedia Affiliations Committee suspended support to Wikimedia Portugal pending, among other things, the support from the community of portuguese editors. I'm not sure why you are adding "Wine Country" to the first line of so many articles in California. At Yountville, California, the word "wine" is not even mentioned in the article. You could just as well mention that Yountville is covered by UCERF3, and is in the Western Hemisphere. It would be great if you could leave "Wine Country" out of articles that make no mention of wine, and in articles that do mention wine, add it to the section which discusses wine. Thanks a lot! Edit war warning
You are going around larding promotional content into articles about business schools, and now are edit warring to retain it. Please stop.
Your recent editing history at Hult International Business School shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Conflict of interest in Wikipedia
You should not be directly editing articles about a school you attend or that is your alma mater. If you choose to, please be very mindful of WP:BOOSTER -- but you should not do.
Hello, Cristiano Tomás. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

- Do you see what is wrong now? Jytdog (talk) 02:16, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- I've been editing on Wikipedia for close to 10 years, across numerous subjects. I have NO paid affiliations and am NOT a booster for any institution. I did not put back controversial content which you removed from the Hult page, I merely separated distinct topics into two paragraphs and edited the intro to elaborate on the merging of American and British institutions. You aren't the final say on how a page is written. I respected your removal of content, respect an organization of existing content even if its not your preference.
