    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

    This page is only for requesting undeletion of pages and files which have already been deleted. If the page you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G4, G5, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Not done – this page was deleted as a blatant advertisement under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion and Wikipedia is not to be used as a vehicle for promotion. This does not necessarily mean a suitable article on this topic cannot be created. If it is a notable topic, e.g., multiple reliable, secondary, published sources that are entirely independent of the subject have written about it in substantive detail (not just mere mentions), then a neutrally written article may be possible. I am also in the management of international NGO-s like the International Kurtosh Kalach Trade Corporation. Due to my activity in science, as well as human and minority rights protection, I have more than 200.000 Google hits. A large number of articles and reports dealed with my activity.

    Since I am a public figure in Transylvania and Central Europe, I decided to write a neutral biographical Wikipedia article about myself. This article was deleted without even having a look into it.

    • In this case WP:Autobiography applies. Jimfbleak deleted the page, and I am sure he looked at the page before deleting. So if you want to challenge deletion of Draft:Peter Hantz, then you should talk to the deleter first. If you do not get a satisfactory answer you can trigger a debate at WP:Deletion review. In the case of biographies you will need writings about the person from at least two independent reliable sources. For academic people this WP:GNG is slightly relaxed to allow the work of the person to be covered by substantial writings from independent reliable other people.     Lore Noto

    Hi there, my name is Collin Helmers. I'm the grandson of Lore Noto, the famous producer of The Fantasticks. My mother (Lore's daughter) had created this page to add historical background and biographical information to my grandfather's page. The page was removed by Fram for "G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement", and I am unable to contact the administrator because it appears they have been banned from Wikipedia. My family retains the legal ownership of the photo that was linked from thefantasticks.com (I believe she even took it herself as a little girl) and my mother did not realize when adding the photo to the page that she would have to go through the "Donate to Wikipedia" process. I would like to request that the page be either undeleted without the offending photo so that we may donate it to Wikipedia and have it put back up properly, or have the page userfied or emailed so we can at least get the information that she added off to recreate the page without any copyright infringements.     @CollinHell: The page was deleted because the text on the page infringed on the copyright of another website. After looking at the deleted page, I agree that it was borrowed too heavily from thefantasticks.com.     I just learned how to edit Wikipedia biography from a friend so I decided to try out some public figures that are notable but doesn't have a wiki page. But when I looked up his name it was a little bit confusing. It seems he has a wiki page it seems he doesn't so I made further research only to discover he had one but it was deleted. In the process of research, I read the deletion discussion and I found the reason was because of the name used to create the page. I Googled what to do which led to the appeal for undeletion.     From what I can tell, I deleted an article in response to another user tagging it for speedy deletion, and deleted the sandbox as it contained essentially the same content.

    It appears the notability of this page has been questioned multiple times, I have usually defended its notability each time but missed this deletion request. Although the project may have been somewhat short lived it was politically relevant and has been referenced by many ongoing institutions; even being mentioned in the Design Museum in London for during their exhibition on protest artwork. It was also widely covered in many major publications at the time the project was active. I am happy to discuss further if there is more need to establish the project's notability.

    I, GenreGeneric, would like to request that the page for Panama Red the musician be undeleted and believe his "lack of notability" to be erroneous. As a songwriter Panama Red qualifies under the WP:Composer guidelines particularly through his work on "Bottom Dollar", which is a song that has been recorded by Mike Aldridge, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Billy Joe Shaver. "Bottom Dollar" has also had derivations of it by notable people which further qualifies him under criteria #3. His songs "Dance Hall Gals" and "Lost in Austin" have also been recorded by Gamble Rogers and Rick & The Ramblers respectively.

    Under WP:SINGER's guidelines he may also qualify under criteria #5 as he recorded two albums with the [formerly major] label Ampex Records in the ensemble Bethlehem Asylum.
