Just transcluding this template alone on a page, and nothing else, gives a post-expand include size of 1,320,287 bytes which is 63% of the 2,097,152 byte transclusion limit. Doesn't allow much headroom for use of other templates in the actual content of the article itself. I just pulled two articles from :Category:Pages where template include size is exceeded by removing this template from them. – wbm1058 (talk) 17:49, 20 February 2019 (UTC)

: Wbm1058 I've made some changes to this template to divide the post-expand include size by a factor of about 4. ery (talk) 20:13, 24 February 2019 (UTC)

This template is a disaster!

Just transcluding this template alone on a page, and nothing else, gives a post-expand include size of 1,320,287 bytes which is 63% of the 2,097,152 byte transclusion limit. Doesn't allow much headroom for use of other templates in the actual content of the article itself. I just pulled two articles from Category:Pages where template include size is exceeded by removing this template from them. – wbm1058 (talk) 17:49, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Wbm1058: I've made some changes to this template to divide the post-expand include size by a factor of about 4. ery (talk) 20:13, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
