:Mr. {{ping|Bbb23}}, it's a pity that you haven't replied to me yet. I've been waiting for you to discuss this for more than 1 hour. You are expected to discuss this with me. I'm being false accused. You talk about behavioral evidence and other stuff but the truth is that I have been used by other people who have linked their accounts to mine. I have never know about the existence of many of the articles edited by those puppets that are not mine, I have always used my account 'Delotrooladoo' for EVERYTHING. You can see this by viewing my history on English and Spanish Wikipedia. You talk about my behavior (which actually is good) but you are basing your statements on things I didn't do, that's unfair. Also, you are violating your obligation to discuss this with me and give me an explanation which I politely asked for before. I don't know why you are attacking me in this way. I have done nothing to you and I'm being a victim here, what I want is a solution, please. How do I prevent these people to link their accounts to mine again? Of course I'm against sock puppets and vandalism, that's why I'm on Wikipedia everyday. In a recent edit to the page Ushuaia, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Jojalozzo 18:25, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Argentines in Spain
Hello Delotrooladoo,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Argentines in Spain for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Brett ~ KaraokeMac (talk) 02:18, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Argentines_in_Spain, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Speedy delete nomination
Speedy deletion nomination of Daniel Lippel
You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on Daniel Lippel, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jersey92 (talk) 03:36, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ana Rosenfeld
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ana Rosenfeld requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DGG ( talk ) 04:55, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Canadian Content Award
The Canadian Content Award
Awarded for your great work with Canadian ethnic related articles. --Moxy (talk) 22:11, 6 December 2015 (UTC) |
- Well deserved, Delotrooladoo!
- Moxy, there is, however, a bit of a problem in need of overcoming with the nomenclature issue for Canada. While I was moving some of the Canadian pages, to the plural form (per "Parity of nomenclature in keeping with recent consensus over plural term use for diasporic ethnic groups residing in/citizens of another country (Village pump rfcid=67A353C)"), I checked the talk pages and found that an RfC was held on the nomenclature issue with a close of no moves as the consensus only a couple of months ago. What this means is that it's probably best to start a new RfC at the village pump invoking the decision made on US diasporic ethnic groups.
- So far, I've changed all of the Australian articles, some of the New Zealand articles, some of the Canadian, African and other articles... but I think the RfC proposal should be an across the board on also addressing awkward naming conventions such as "Malaysians in Argentina" as not meeting with WP:PRECISE. There are some really weird ones out there that are convoluted and misleading. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:51, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
The article Jacob Isaac Neiman has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. possible moves
found what is below today ...was going to move them but though of you...you may know best here; -- Moxy (talk) 22:22, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- Brazilian immigration to Mexico
- Romani people in Mexico
- Venezuelan immigration to Mexico
- Kenyan immigration to Mexico
- Scandinavian immigration to Mexico
- Hi, Moxy. We're aware of them. The problem is that, when I tried a straight-forward technical request for a couple of these articles, an editor who works on these pages protested, so the move was declined. He's trying to keep them all stuck in that rut in order that there be parity over the titles because of Spanish immigration to Mexico. Personally, I don't see that it is any different to a long history of the colonisation of the New World (or Australia). I'm thinking about holding an RfC on the subject as it's unnecessarily convoluted, and is certainly not intuitive in any way. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 00:13, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- This has come up many times before...lets have an RfC at WP:Mexico...We just need to explain again that immigration and diaspora are not the same thing. This seems to be a problem with non-native speakers of English. -- Moxy (talk) 00:26, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- Well, I've decided to go bold and move all of the articles you listed above. Let's see whether anyone makes any noises about the moves first. Most of them are abandoned (never having been well developed in the first place), and there are tumbleweeds blowing across the talk pages. With the first big round of moves, editors joined in and started moving articles they worked on following suit. It was only one editor who felt defensive about one article's title. Give 'em a little time to get used to it, then they'll feel their 'own' article titles are out of place. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 00:35, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- This has come up many times before...lets have an RfC at WP:Mexico...We just need to explain again that immigration and diaspora are not the same thing. This seems to be a problem with non-native speakers of English. -- Moxy (talk) 00:26, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you Moxy for letting me know about this issue. I've been thinking about moving some of those articles before but I wasn't sure enough because all the articles concerning immigration to Mexico are titled in a different way. I thought it would be better to ask some of the authors of them before moving the articles but now I realise that all of them must be moved to be like the rest of the articles about immigration to other countries. Iryna Harpy has done the right thing and I support what she has stated. In case you need something else, I'd be pleased to contribute or help you both. Regards! Delotrooladoo (talk) 01:57, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- To be honest, while I was considering it to be an RfC issue, I'd rather try to work around it due to the fact that the majority of editors who develop articles from nation-states A to Z are not Anglophones. It's difficult to convey the fact that nomenclature in their native/first language doesn't automatically apply to English COMMONNAME, nor that modern nation-states and 'ethnicity' within these old territorial and cultural namesakes are one and the same thing. Arguing such matters almost inevitably ends up in grief and hurt feelings, so I'd rather not engage as if there were more appropriate options available. Introducing the conventions while no-one is looking may come across as being a little on the duplicitous side, but sometimes it's better to take charge. Taking charge isn't the equivalent of OWN. If any editors are truly unhappy about the changes, they will let us know about it. When/if the need arises, discussions can start. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:00, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
Flagging you
Did you by any chance see the change just before yours and decide "who cares what they think?" I've reverted your change. But I must wonder why you think all these articles are missing the flags you think they should have? How could so many be so wrong? :-) Shenme (talk) 05:09, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:50, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
Hello, Delotrooladoo. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
New 10,000 Challenge for Canada
Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Canada/The 10,000 Challenge is up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge for the UK which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. If you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Canada like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1600 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for Canada but fuelled by a contest such as The North America Destubathon to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. I would like some support from Canadian wikipedians here to get the Challenge off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile! Cheers. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:55, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
New Challenge for Oceania and Australia
Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/The 5000 Challenge are up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. The Australia challenge would feed into the wider region one and potentially New Zealand could have a smaller challenge too. The main goal is content improvement, tackling stale old stubs and important content and improving sourcing/making more consistent but new articles are also welcome if sourced. I understand that this is a big goal for regular editors, especially being summertime where you are, but if you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Oceania and Australia like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1700 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for the region but fuelled by a series of contests to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. The Africa contest scaled worldwide would naturally provide great benefits to Oceania countries, particularly Australia and attract new editors. I would like some support from existing editors here to get the Challenges off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile and potentially bring about hundreds of improvements in a few weeks through a contest! Cheers.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:12, 24 November 2016 (UTC)

Hello, @EdJohnston:! I know you are not the one who blocked me but I need to find an answer to this mistake. I have been accused of being a sock but the truth is that I'm not. I'm suffering from collateral damage. I have never been a sock. This has always been my only account. I've been an active member on the English and Spanish Wikipedia since 2012.Notes:

I won't accept or decline this request just now, but can you offer any explanation for why there are 73 accounts which have been technically connected to each other at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Delotrooladoo? Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:44, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you! @Boing! said Zebedee: How do I offer an explanation? Sorry for all my questions, but this is the first time this happens to me in all these years, it is driving me crazy. The only thing I have to say is that someone is using my name or my IP, I don't know. I have never created those accounts, I swear. I don't know what to do! Delotrooladoo (talk) 15:51, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Well, checkuser technical evidence includes more than just IP address, so that alone would not have produced a "confirmed" result. I don't have checkuser access myself, so I'll leave this for another admin to review. In the meantime, if you can think of any way so many people could appear to be you, please do say so here. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:56, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your attention @Boing! said Zebedee:. I don't really know how this happened, it is very strange to me, really. I usually participate in history, cultural and articles about immigration, but always as Delotrooladoo. I have never created or used any other account, I don't really see the point of using different accounts, I mean, mine is sufficient. And I don't get why someone or several people are linking their accounts to mine! That's unfair. Thank you again. Delotrooladoo (talk) 16:02, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- @EdJohnston:. I have been reading what you are talking with Bbb23 in your talk page, and now I understand what happened, I've been a target of other people. I've been talking to Boing! said Zebedee and he also told me about this, and now I realize many people have linked their accounts to mine. I have never created those accounts, I swear. I always contribute in history and cultural articles, mainly in those about immigration. Also, I contribute on articles about Jewish immigration in Latin America and other things. But I don't know who has been relating his or their accounts to mine. I have never been a vandal or something like that, I swear! I always do good things and revert vandalism, you can see this on Spanish Wikipedia too. I'm so confused, please, help me. I can give you my e-mail or whatever you need to confirm that I'm not the owner of those puppets. I've seen that some of those puppets also contributed to articles I didn't even know they exist! Delotrooladoo (talk) 16:20, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Also, I have another doubt. How do I prevent this from happening again? It's very frustrating. Delotrooladoo (talk) 16:24, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Mr. @Bbb23:, it's a pity that you haven't replied to me yet. Sincerely, Delotrooladoo (talk) 16:48, 19 December 2016 (UTC)

Why am I blocked?
Please help me, I have been accused of being a sock but I am not. I have never had multiple accounts. I've always used mine since 2012 to revert vandalism and contribute to articles. I have been blocked for something I did not do.
Delotrooladoo (talk) 15:36, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- You don't need a separate Help request; the unblock request is sufficient to bring this to the attention of patrolling admins. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:45, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
