Korićanske stijene (Korićani's Rocks) are nearly vertical cliffs above Ilomska Canyon (on Vlašić Mountain). It is located about half a kilometer from the village Korićani, at an altitude of about 1200 meters.[1][2][3][4]

On August 21, 1992, more than 200 civilians (Bosniaks and Croats) from Prijedor was displaced from the convoy of refugees who were sent to the exchange. Serbian officials were brought in over the precipice at the Korićanske rocks. All these people were placed in two buses to join the column in Trnopolje camp. Beside them, the truck "Autotransport Prijedor", who drove Serbian polismen that 30 civilians.

They have all been ordered to stand on the edge of a precipice, and then shooting them in the back. After falling into the abyss, policmen have continued to throw bombs and scouting for possible surrvived.[5][6][7][8][9] However, a few people have been to escape before falling into the abyss. They later testified at trial ICTY Tribunal in The Hague, concerning the war crimes of the Republika Srpska.[10]
